Je cherche encore et encore une solution à un petit problème qui relève plus de l'administration Linux à mon avis.
Bref, voici ma question:
Lorsqu'on démarre Snort (2.
normalement, il ecrit à l'écran quantité d'information utile.
Je souhaite maintenant le démarrer en mode daemon, avec l'option -D. Aucune info n'est remonté à l'écran et je peine pour pouvoir les retrouver. Je pensais que c'était au niveau syslog (/var/adm/messages) mais ne trouve rien.
Le lancer en background (&) est possible mais il n'est alors plus question d'utiliser logrotate sur les alert logs.
Avez-vous une idée pour récupérer ces précieuses infos en mode daemon?
