* Local user authentication including group based user management
* LDAP authentication including Active Directory, eDirectory and OpenLDAP
* Windows authentication including Windows NT/2003 domains and Samba
* Network based access control over IP and MAC addresses
* Time based access restrictions
* MIME type filter
* Blocking of unauthorized browsers or client software

You are the creator to URLFilter ?
It's possible to install URLFilter and ADVproxy on the same machine ?

Yes, of course. The Advanced Proxy is designed to cooperate with the urlfilter add-on, except for user and group based access control.

User or group based filter rules may be an option for further releases of urlfilter.

In fact, ADVproxy remplace a PDC if i understand ?
My PDC is a windows 2000 server and this addon will remplace it ?

No. This add-on will not replace an existing PDC and it will not act as a PDC.

You can use a PDC for user authentication. If you have an existing Windows infrastructure, you can use those existing domain accounts to allow or deny web access.

Yep... i think that is this...because, there isn't samba with your addon...

However, it's a good idea for people who don't have a PDC.

Well, my english is too bad so. LOL !!!
Since 6 years, i don't speak english. (only at school and on the internet sometimes)
But, i think if i do speak english with you in live, it's very difficult for me because, to write this message, i translate every word. 10 minutes for write this.... Incredible !!!
