Bonjour a tous, je viens d'installer IPCOP 1.4.0a1 et je n'arrive pas a faire fonctionner mon modem.

Config :

2 carte Realtech 8139 une red, une verte
B-FOCUS Modem ADSL ETH ATM ECI L
install en PPPoE (setup)
Param WEB PPPoE


Quelqu'un a le meme ? comment fo faire ! :?

Chose bizzarre, j'ai pris les cable d'origine, entre l'ordi et le PC le cable est droit !!! avecun croisé sa ne marche pas non plus !!!!

Hello,


Le help est simplissime: installes la DERNIERE version qui est la RC4.

1 million de problèmes de modem corrigé depuis cette viellerie. D'ailleur comment es-tu tombé sur cette daube ?

La rc4 est vraiment conseillée pour les problèmes de reconnexion.

Je n'ai plus perdu la ligne depuis longtemps.

Il n'empèche que cela devrait au moins fonctionner aussi sur a1 donc probablement que le problème vient d'une inversion des 2 cartes réseau ou d'un problème de cable.

Est-ce que le modem est synchronisé? sinon c'est un problème de liaison avec la ligne téléphonique, du genre, se brancher après un filtre et pas sur la sortie non filtrée.

En fait ma connexion internet fonctionne bien puisque je vous repond !!!

Je viens d'installer la RC4 toujours avec le meme modem en PPPoE, j'ai accé a l'interface web de paramaetrage ,

Un des intérêts de la V1.4, c'est que c'est plus facile pour débuger les problèmes de configuration.

pppd de ton coté dit
No auth is possible


Ce doit être parce que pppd a conclut que ni pap ni chap n'étaient en état de fonctionner.
Or ton correspondant a demandé 'chap'.

Il faudrait savoir comment tu as fait pour obtenir cela.
Normalement, il devrait y avoir un message d'erreur en PPPoE si le login/mot de passe ne sont pas remplis (il se pourrait que ce soit le cas , bien que normalement du code vérifie qu'ils soient remplis). Mais si tu mets un espace pour passer outre au contrôle, je ne sais pas comment pppd va interpréter cela.

Ou alors, est-ce que tu n'as pas des caractères spéciaux dans le login / mot de passe, genre " ou ' ou * ou / ?
Le @ est supporté sans problème.

Qu'as-tu sélectionné en bas de la page pppsetup.cgi pour l'authentification?

A priori, tu devrais choisir 'PAP ou CHAP', ou PAP, ou CHAP, mettre un login et un mot de passe

En fait j'ai 2 Realtech 3169 une sur carte mere, et l'autre sur PCI, et j'ai l'impression qu IPcop se trompe de catre!!!

Si j'installe IPCop sans la carte pci il installe l'interface vert (GREEN + Modem)
Ensuite j'eteint IPCop, je met ma carte PCI je redémarre.
La l'interface verte est passé sur ma carte PCI ?????
sans meme l'installer !!

Nulle part je peut présiser VPI VCI ????????

Quand un modem ethernet est en bridge, soit il s'autoconfigure de lui-même pour les VPI/VCI qui vont bien, soit cela se configure sur l'interface web du modem. Donc c'est normal qu'il n'y ait rien dans l'interface web d'IPCop

Des manip comme celle-là ne sont pas supportées par l'interface de configuration.
Il n'y a pas de vérification par rapport à l'adresse MAC de chaque carte.

De même si tu as 2 cartes identiques dont tu changes l'ordre sur les connecteurs PCI, les cartes seront inversées.

Pour ne pas te tromper sur les sorties, tu peux peut-être utiliser mii-tool sur l'une puis l'autre interface.
eth0 étant nécessaire la green.

Bonjour,

ça vaut ce que ça vaut comme explication, mais je tenais à signaler pour ma propre expérience, que j'avais un peu la même config de départ (Modem B-Focus ethernet et deux cartes Realtek) et j'ai eu pas mal de soucis.

Ma solution sans être la plus parfaite, c'est le remplacement des deux realtek par deux cartes 3Com et là 0 problèmes, installation, config et connexion en même pas une demi-heure.

J'avais eu ce souci avec mon serveur sme il y a deux ans et à l'époque on m'avait suggéré de faire des essais avec des carte réseau basées sur des chips autres que des 8139 realtek, et cela avait porté ses fruits.

Voilà ce que je peux vous dire pour ma part. Si cela peut aider quelque'un, je ne dis pas que c'est LA solution et que cela va marcher, mais parfois, il y a souci. Peut être alors qu'en commençant par tester avec au moins une autre carte différente.

Toujours rien de mieux !! Merci jud, GESP et les autres , je vais voir si je peut trouver une carte reseau autre.

Je voudrais bien savoir pourquoi tu as 'No auth is possible'

Tu peux regarder dans /var/ppp/seetings :
- si tu as un login enregistré
- si tu as un mot de passe enregistré

ensuite que tu vérifies que c'est correctement écrit dans /var/ipcop/ppp/pap-or-chap (le nom et l'emplacement sont de mémoire mais cela ne doit pas être loin)

Aussi, est-ce que tu ne fais pas une erreur dans le login fti/ et non fti\?

Probleme Résolu ! merci GESP.

Je récapitule :

- carte mere avec carte reseau intégrée : MS6368 Ver5 (MSI)

Avec la carte reseau intégrée IPCop ne fonctionne pas il detecte une mauvaise carte realtech 8139


- J'ai donc mis deux Realtech 8139


- cela ne marché pas ! normal en réinstallent j'ai mal configuré mon login de connexion.



- Param en PPPoE sur le setup d'install et PPPoE (sans le plugin dans l'interface web)




Et voila ! tout marche bien !!!
