Next Friday, the 19th of July, we will release first public beta of the SmoothWall GPL version 2.0 — notice GPL, not proprietary.

We have this week worked with the FSF with Bradley Kuhn and Richard Stallman on new fund raising initiatives for the FSF in line with the new GPL SmoothWall, which takes the old GPL platform, and adds new features, new kernel and more supported hardware than ever before, including branded official support for new USB ADSL hardware in licenced conjunction with two global players.

This will still be wholly GPL and serve very much as a taster for our corporate products, but without any proprietary restrictions.

Nota : Vous aurez remarqué l'insistance sur le fait que cette version est GPL, et les références aux pairs (RMS en tête...)
